Nature loving kids can enjoy an afternoon of learning about turtles. The open house will feature indoor and outdoor science stations including turtle trap checking, turtle data collection with live turtles, and dip netting for aquatic insects, as well as a specimen touch table, groundwater model demonstration, craft table, play table, and museum scavengers hunts.
