Aspiring rockhounds can learn how to identify rocks and minerals through observation skills and hardness test at this class at the Lizzardo Museum of Lapidary Art. After the event, kids can tour the museum and complete a scavenger hunt. Geologist Sara Kurth provides the introductory lesson, which is perfect for Boy Scout or Girl Scout Merit badges.
