Age: 5-15
Price: $10 per child, free for adults
Location:
Pritzker Military Museum & Library

Join us at the Pritzker Military Museum and Library as we celebrate Month of the Military Child! In this family friendly workshop, led by arts educator Moki Tantoco, we will use mask-making as an expression of our inner and outer experiences. Participants will learn about color and design, express themselves by creating a mask, and write reflections about their artwork. All materials will be provided.

Young artists will also have an opportunity to have finished pieces displayed as part of the WE ARE RESLIENCE: Masks of Hope Exhibit scheduled for Wednesday April 6, 2022. The exhibit will feature 100 masks created by military-connected youth throughout the Chicagoland area.

Due to space and materials, this program is limited to 25 participants.
