Weekend Fun: Syrup, a Parade, and Irish Dance; Mar 9-10

What to do with kids and families this weekend in Boston

Chilly though it may be, March is actually a sweet time of year if you live in New England. The maple syrup is flowing, and festivals celebrating it abound. This weekend you can get your maple fix at by going on a tour, checking out a tree tap-a-thon, and having a sugaring celebration. Families can also see what the syrup harvesting process was like in the olden days and how it's changed over the years.

Speaking of celebrating, it's your last chance to celebrate Chinese New Year with a parade, get excited for St Patrick's Day, and prepare for the spring festival of Purim
