This first weekend in February, experience some artsy fun at the MFA's (free!) Lunar New Year celebration or the opening of the this street-art-inspired show. Or, invite kids to create their own sweet somethings at special Valentine-themed kids' crafting events in Boston and Ipswich.

After fueling up at the annual Pancake Breakfast at Verril Farm, catch a show: There's the world famous Ladysmith Black Mambazo at Sanders Theatre and Mike the Bubble Man at Eliot Pearson Children's School.  Ready to play in the snow? Head to Garden Dreams Winter Sculptures at The Stevens-Coolidge Place or this free Winter Carnival at NARA Park (Frozen dance party included!).
