Weekend Fun for Boston Kids: Cardboard Capers and Fall Festivals, October 15-16
After such a cold, rainy Sunday, my family and I are looking forward to getting back outside this weekend. With the autumn weather as crisp and sunny as it has been these past few days, now is the time to be out enjoying the activities of the season. A few fall favorites are the Boston Book Festival setting up in Copley for both days this weekend and the North Shore Food Truck Festival on Saturday in Stoneham. For baseball lovers mourning the end of the Red Sox season, the Fenway Park Experience is back in Faneuil Hall. I will be heading to the Fall for Scituate festival with my crew on Sunday for some hay rides and the apple cider donuts we get there every year.
In case our lovely New England fall weather does take a turn, there is plenty to do indoors at events like Paper Marbling at the Paul Revere House, Cardboard Explosion (pictured) at Puppet Showplace Theater, or the Art & Theater Workshop at the Arsenal Center for the Arts.
