Whether we're cooking a big feast at home or planning to dine out on Thanksgiving, many of us are looking for something to do with the kids this week. There is plenty to choose from: turkey trots, tree lightings, The Nutcracker performances, and more festive holiday fun that kicks into high gear the day after Thanksgiving.
Our picks for this week highlight a little bit of everything to help you keep your sanity and the kids entertained, including a drop-off "camp" on Wednesday and Friday, a visit with a favorite author early in the week, and a free celebration of diversity at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum (pictured; reserve your seats in advance). For family fun ideas every day this week, read on. And if you want more, check our Event Calendar.
Our Besties contest is officially closed after Sunday, November 20. We hope you voted for a chance to win spectacular prizes from the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Great Wolf Lodge, and Puerto Vallarta.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
