Little Sprouts in the Garden: Pollinator Story Trail

- see all dates
Families are invited to spark curiosity and a love of nature in young explorers with Little Sprouts in the Garden, a monthly themed series designed to connect children with the natural world.
In celebration of Pollinator Month, visitors can enjoy a colorful and educational experience along the Garden to Garden Trail, featuring a self-guided story walk with Flower Talk: How Plants Use Color to Communicate by Sara Levine.
As families stroll the trail, they’ll encounter pages from the book displayed on signs, each offering engaging insights shared by a witty, talking cactus. Along the way, participants can:
– Discover how flowers use color to attract pollinators
– Learn fun facts about bees, butterflies, birds, and more
– Explore the fascinating science behind plant communication
This self-guided program is free with admission and open to all ages. It’s available daily during regular hours—perfect for families, school groups, and curious nature lovers to enjoy at their own pace.
