The Perils of Mr. Punch: The Astro-Nut
Sat Nov 9, 2019 - Mon Nov 11, 2019
- see all dates
Repeating every days through November 11, 2019.
Various times
Age: 4+
Price: $12.50
Location:
Puppet Showplace Theater
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing as Mr. Punch, puppetry’s most famous loudmouth, attempts to be the first puppet to go to space.
Of course, nothing on this mission goes right: his rocket ship is made of cardboard, crocodiles lurk around every corner, and the stage is filled with elaborate surprises. “The Astronut” is an old-timey comedic spectacle that features skillful hand puppetry, creative design, and live music played on instruments ranging from the ukulele to the bicycle pump.
