Meet Sally Ride
Come and meet Sally Ride, the first American woman to go into space, portrayed by award winning and multifaceted actress Sheryl Faye.
Ms. Faye will present a forty-five minute multi-media, interactive portrait of this famous woman, who coincidentally was also a stamp collector. Ms. Faye has performed her impersonation at schools, libraries, community centers and historical societies.
Examples of the stamps Sally Ride collected will be on exhibit. This performance, appropriate for all ages, is not only entertaining but also helps audience understand the influence Sally Ride has had on history and in encouraging young girls to enter the fields of science and math.
Special discounts for large families, scout troops and senior organizations. For more information or to reserve a ticket call 617-784-5838 or email to info@spellman.org. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
