At thie Veterans Day event, there are stamp scavenger hunts, making collections of stamps about presidents, animals and states, arts and crafts with stamps and stamp games and puzzles.  

Children receive free packets of stamps.  Each child can also become a free kids member of the Museum.

The special exhibit of “Snakes on Stamps” will be on display with over 450 snake stamps from around the world on view. The stamps belong to herpetologist Dr. Van Wallach of the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Information about how the collection is being entered into the Guinness Book of World Records will be explained.
