Surrealism in Street Art Car Tour for Parents
Go for a drive with your baby and enjoy an art tour from your car. Dial in from your phone to get connected and at each stop you will listen to the tour and be able to (and are encouraged!) to ask questions, share observations, and participate.
In the 1920s, a cultural movement inspired by the unconscious mind emerged and completely revolutionized the art scene. Surrealism, as this movement is now known, continues to inspire and influence artists today. Join us on a public art tour of Surrealist imagery, influences, and ideas and discover connections to the works of Surrealist artists Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, and René Magritte, among others.
Advance registration is required for this tour. Registrants will receive an email with the street address for our first stop as well as a phone number to dial and participate in the tour. Because this is a new tour, tickets will be extremely limited.
** Please keep your family and others safe by wearing masks and social distancing. If an event appears too crowded, try using the "nearby" search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
