The next performance in Powers Music School’s Musical Storytelling Program will be “Anansi and the Moss-Covered Rock."
These performances will feature the narration of the popular children’s books by Eric A. Kimmel, and original music by Powers’ faculty and guest artists Yas Ishibashi (piano, vocals), Jessica Cooper (vocals, narration), Michael Carey (saxophone, flute, clarinet), and Nurudafina Abena (African percussion).
Admission is free, but families are advised to arrive early.
