10:00am to 12:00pm ET
Age: 2+
Price: Free
Location:
Newton City Hall

Bring the whole family, along with a food pantry breakfast donation and contribution for CarePacks, help sort the items collected during the City’s December food drive, then enjoy free refreshments in the Mayor’s office, craft making, face painting and more as you explore the halls and rooms of the historic City Hall building.

Be sure to save time for a personal visit with Mayor Fuller in her office.  The open house is free, open to all and concludes at noon.

As part of the New Year’s Eve Open House at Newton City Hall, the Newton Republican City Committee, in partnership with the Sons of the American Legion, will be hosting their annual CarePacks drive for the troops. The CarePacks will be shipped to Boston area soldiers serving overseas. Suggested items to donate include protein bars, dried fruit, canned tuna, and toothpaste, among others.  For more information on what to bring, check out the website: carepacks.org. You can also bring along a tax-deductible contribution, made payable to CarePacks, Inc.  For more information, contact info@newtonrepublicans.org.
