Halloween Story Walk
LexFUN! has organized a Halloween Story Walk for local families to enjoy. Kids are encouraged to attend in costume, and the short walk will follow illustrated pages from the story, Room on the Broom.
The Story Walk will be open for all at noon on Sunday, October 25 and will stay up until 5pm Halloween night.
Residents of the local area are encouraged to take their little ones, costume and all, on this 0.4 mile loop, following the pages and arrows to enjoy the story. The activity is great way to promote literacy and exercise while having some seasonal fun. The walk is free for all to enjoy over multiple days, no tickets necessary! For those who enjoy their adventure, please share with the community tagging @lexfun! on Facebook or @lexfunfamilies on Instagram.
Entrance to the walk will be located on Worthen Road, directly across from the LHS football field, and it continues along the fitness path and boardwalk. This walk is stroller-friendly! Due to COVID restrictions please enjoy the story walk in small groups, don’t forget your mask, and stay socially distanced
