Visit the Discovery Museum to explore the endless possibilities of solar energy! Try out some simple experiments to see the sun’s energy in action, go on a sun scavenger hunt, and explore how solar panels help us turn the sun’s energy into electricity.

At 11:00am there will be a special Solar Launch Ceremony announcing the Discovery Museum’s conversion to solar electricity, produced on site through the museum's new, 326kW solar canopy. Discovery Museum looks forward to celebrating this milestone for the region and a first among children’s museums nationally!

Book your tickets below. Please note that advance registration is required to visit the Museum; walk-ins are not accepted. Reservations can be made 14 days in advance for members, 10 days in advance for non-members.
