Outdoor Adventures for Families: Eagle Fest - Bald Eagles on the River
When winter returns to the lower Merrimack Valley, so do Bald Eagles. Every year the area hosts a grand event marking their return.
Kids ages 6 to 11 and their families can learn about winter and early spring wildlife. Joppa Flats provides all the field gear and equipment. This is not a drop-off class; all children must be accompanied by at least one adult. All adults are expected to participate in the program.
Eagle Fest program fees are discounted, with many thanks to the generosity of our Eagle Festival sponsors, Newburyport Bank and Boston Partners Financial Group.
Registration is required. Prior to the program, participants receive an email with information on where to meet, parking and facilities details, driving directions, and other guidelines. Dress for the weather and terrain.
