The New Art Center in Newton is hosting a Festival of Light Community Cultural Day. Art educators will lead guests through various take-home activities that showcase the traditions of different holidays including Diawli, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Las Posadas.

The event will also feature the Jewish Arts Collaborative’s illuminated mobile art exhibit, Brighter Ignited. This super-sized interactive light display will tour Greater Boston during Hanukkah 2022, featuring illuminated artwork by hundreds of participants from local communities.
