In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Jewish Book Week, join us for storytime for kids with author Richard Michelson for Fanny’s Big Idea: How Jewish Book Week Was Born.

This beautifully illustrated picture book introduces children to the influential Bostonian librarian and immigrant, Fanny Goldstein, who originated Jewish Book Week.

 

About Richard Michelson

RICHARD MICHELSON’s books have been named among the Ten Best of the Year by The New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and The New Yorker. He has received a National Jewish Book Award (and twice been a finalist), two Sydney Taylor Gold Medals (and two silver) from the Association of Jewish Libraries, three Junior Library Guild Gold Medals, a National Parenting Publication Gold Medal, and an International Reading Association Teacher’s Choice Award.
