Repeating every week — Tuesdays, and Thursdays through August 31, 2021.
9:00am to 3:00pm ET
Age: 5-12
Price: $72 member child; $ 90 nonmember child
Become a farmer for the day! Children will encounter farm animals, learn about farm-fresh food, hike the trails, create natural crafts, and explore the farm and its surroundings from the eyes of its most important team member: the farmer!
Each session will have a different theme such as “How Do Vegetables Grow” or “Wild Animal Habitats.”
Types of activities could include…
– Discover how our resident farm animals handle the hot weather
– Play farm themed games
– Learn how our farmers care for crops in the summer
– Make crafts from materials gathered on a hike
– Enjoy some downtime with new friends, create a nature journal, or climb a tree
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Early registration is recommended!
