Guided Snowshoe Walk
Winter snow creates a canvas that paints a picture of animal activity. The adventure follows these signs to learn about how animals survive the winter at the BNC. This leisurely guided hike includes snowshoe instructions and a walk on one of the trails with a Teacher Naturalist. Bring your own snowshoes or borrow some from the center.
To ensure availability, call ahead. If there is no snow on the ground, this will be a regular guided walk.
This program is held entirely outdoors, so bring rain and cold weather gear as needed. In the case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule the event.
PLEASE NOTE: This program is conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 15 pre-registered participants. Participants are required to wear a face covering when less than six feet apart, and when entering the building, and follow social distancing guidelines.
This program is free if you are a member of Dot Rx. Please email bnccamp@massaudubon.org to register.
Registration is required.
