Seven Matches. One Legendary City. Boston will host seven matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ — the biggest tournament in soccer (aka fútbol) history.

FIFA World Cup 2026™ kicks off with an opening match in Mexico City on June 11, 2026. The action comes to Boston just two days later, on June 13, when Gillette Stadium, temporarily renamed Boston Stadium, hosts its first of five Group Stage matchups.

Then the stakes get even higher. On June 29, Boston hosts a Round of 32 showdown, a win-or-go-home elimination match. And on July 9, the journey reaches a fever pitch as Boston welcomes a Quarter-final, where two of the world’s top teams compete for a place in history.
