The Boch Center Wang Theatre is launching a new “Science Tour” for Presidents Day, and it is free!

On this tour, children will learn about the nature of soundwaves using the acoustics of the incredible auditorium space and an assortment of other rooms that manipulate the way sound travels. Using kazoos, percussion, and their own voices and bodies, students can analyze the anatomy of sound, how it travels, and how it is interpreted. Additionally, students will see and experience technology that is almost a century old, including a thermal energy storage air conditioning system and a hand-powered elevator.
