Discovery Museum turns 40 this year, and it's celebrating with a birthday bash in honor of museum mascot, Bessie, the big, green dinosaur.

Kids are invited to help create a great, big, colorful birthday hat fit for everyone's favorite dino friend—and design their own unique party hat to add to the fun! Make a birthday card to support a local charity that creates special birthday moments for children who are in the hospital on their birthdays. Take part in a Bessie-inspired scavenger hunt around the museum campus, and between 11am to 2pm enjoy treats available from the Jerry’s Famous Soft Serve truck!
