Bundle up because little explorers are heading out to the farm and woodlands of Chestnut Hill Farm. Who knows what wintery delights await? Topics could include: animal tracking, ice experiments, snow activities, or animal hibernation.
Little farmers will become fully immersed in what life is like here at Chestnut Hill Farm. Each morning will be a new learning experience. Kids will begin by learning about a seasonal topic based on what is happening in nature or the yearly cycle on the farm. Then everyone will head outside for a walk on the farm. There may go on a nature scavenger hunt, look for wildlife, search for animal signs, or visit the farm animals. Finally, the morning will end with a take-home craft.
There is an indoor space to use for art and other activities, but the majority of the time will also be spent time outdoors so make sure to come with layers!
Adult supervision is required. Little farmers and their grownups should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty. Please note, dogs are not permitted on the farm.
** Please keep your family and others safe by wearing masks and social distancing. If an activity appears too crowded, try using the "nearby" search feature on our activity calendar to find something else to do.
