MARTA is hosting a 40th Anniversary Festival to mark when the first MARTA trains took to the rails in 1979. 

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of MARTA trains, MARTA will host a free festival at the Avondale Yard. The Festival will have activities for the whole family with live band performances, historic bus tours, photo opportunities, games, food trucks, and bounce house fun.

The event is free to attend but attendees MUST RSVP via the website.
