Belmont World Film Family Festival: Where Stories Come Alive!
- see all dates
This year's Belmont World Film Family Festival takes place online and in person, enabling audience members to view films from home or at the Majestic 7 in Watertown. The annual MLK week event offers family films that provide a window into the lives of children around the world as well as filmmaking workshops to enrich children’s lives.
Films will be shown in-person on January 14, 15, 16, and 20, 2023. Virtual screenings are available from January 20 to January 22, 2023. Since most films are based on international children’s books and feature subtitles, it helps children develop a love of books and increase reading fluency. Most film programs are available for viewing throughout the entire US, though a few are limited to New England or Massachusetts.
