Learn how conservators care for collections even more fragile than cherry blossoms. Young artisits will then create their own artwork and learn ways to protect it.

One registration per household. A Zoom link and a list of suggested materials will be sent to registered participants 24–48 hours in advance of the workshop.

This hands-on, art-making preservation workshop is designed for children ages three to eight and their caretakers. The program is cohosted by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
