Kids Online Python Coding Class

No background knowledge is required to start learning Python coding. In this hour-long weekly class, kids and teens will learn the concepts, explore examples, and then have the chance to execute code, and deepen their knowledge with additional exercises.
The course will cover installing Python, data types and creating variables, input and output, decision making and repetition, iterators, list comprehension, functions, variable scope, modules - creating and using pre-built ones, object oriented programming, inheritance, exception handling and using data structures.
After each class, students will receive class notes and assignments for further at-home learning. Students will need a laptop or computer and internet connection. No iPads or tablets.
Classes are one hour long and meet once a week for one month (4 weeks) at the selected day and time. To register select a start date and class time. After checkout you will receive an email confirmation and the Zoom link will be sent by the provider before the first class. Please note virtual class times are listed in Eastern Time; please adjust if needed.
