Before electricity was invented, residents of Morris-Jumel Mansion used candles to light their way in the house. On Family Day, children and their adults can make their own handmade candle in the mansion's 18th-Century Kitchen.

Families have their choice of wax color and scents. One candle per guest; registration for one ticket reserves one candle jar. Please register for the total number of people in your party who will be making a candle.

This program is free with registration; all Family Day guests receive free admission to the Mansion during the event.

Masks are required for all visitors over the age of two.
