The City of Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation holds its annual kids costume parade. In existence for almost 50 years, children are invited to dress in their favorite costume and parade from the Recreation Center to Kennedy Plaza.

2023 Schedule:

  • 11am Costume Parade & Dance Party
  • 10am-3pm Live music by Studio Noir Kids
  • Trick or treat around the Plaza all day
  • Handcrafted art by amazing local artists

Awards for best costumes and other categories are given and each child in costume receives special treats.
