FAMILY WORKSHOP: Colors of Nature
Traditionally, Himalayan artists make their own paints from natural materials like stones, gems, bark, flowers, and leaves. Families will first explore the use of color in paintings in the galleries, and then create their own paints out of traditional materials.
Location and Ticketing information: All programs take place at the Rubin Museum of Art,150 W. 17ththAvenue. Tickets are available in person or by calling the Box Office at 212.620.5000 x344. All family education programs are $10 for children ($5 for RMA members’ children); FREE for accompanying adult’s admission; FREE for children twelve months and under; and FREE for members of Cool Culture. Tickets include admission to the galleries and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
