Families are invited to explore the Hopper Drawing exhibition through tours, art workshops, a huge collaborative drawing project, and more. Engage with Hopper’s drawings and his creative process. Discover how he used his memory and imagination to transform his drawings of the everyday world into mysterious, moody, and magical paintings.
The Museum will open just for families one hour early so you can enjoy a VIP experience in the galleries.
Artist Jason Polan, author of the blog Every Person In New York, will be on hand to lead a collaborative drawing project with families.
Free with Museum admission. No registration is required—just drop in.

Each year Torly Kid hosts a day of fun for TriBeCa's tween community. This year the festivities include their annual hula hoop contest, a glitter tattoo station, and bake sale with proceeds benefiting the World Wildlife Fund.
Also, back by popular demand is the oh so popular airbrush station, where you can get cool airbrush designs on your camp gear and t-shirts PLUS mini makeovers featuring french braids using Pretty Yum Thing detangler, an all-organic tween hair product. Recommended for ages 7-14.

DayLife is a free 3-block special event that covers Orchard Street in astroturf and pushcarts, and includes the best in LES food and fashion vendors. DayLife will also feature activities such as free Yoga classes at the top of each hour courtesy of Yoga High, DJ lessons from Scratch DJ Academy, badminton, urban croquet, face-painting and stage full of top-tier talent curated by The Living Room at the Tammany Hall stage. Plus, a pastrami eating contest hosted by Katz's Deli in celebration of their 125th Anniversary.

There will also be a free screening of Top Gun on the Flight Deck, a Memorial Day Ceremony featuring the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag, a panel discussion focused on African Americans in WWII, and more.
