The West Side Y and the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater present the New York City premiere of Emmy-nominatied Leslie Carrara-Rudolph’s Wake Up Your Weird! Leslie and Lolly defend their imaginations against negative thoughts with the help of one-of-kind friends like Gordon the Sasquatch, Velvet the Fairy Godmother, and Slax the Lizard. An energetic, hilarious show full of original songs, video shorts, and puppetry.
90 minutes with an intermission and recommended for youth 8 yrs. old and up and their families.
Wake Up Your Weird! is supported in part by a special presentation grant from the Jim Henson Foundation. Wake Up Your Weird! was awarded the UNIMA Citation of Excellence in 2012.
