Festivities include live local & international Irish music, refreshments, a 40 vendor shopping village which provides Irish imports and gifts and vendor food.
Saturday at noon the Staten Island Pipes and Drums, one of five pipe bands participating in the Pipe and Drum Tatoo on Sunday, will kick off the opening ceremonies to begin the fair. On Sunday the gates open at 10:00am for those wanting to attend the traditional Irish High Mass and the festival will begin immediately following the High Mass with The Pipe and Drum Tatoo.
There is also a kiddie section, “Land of the Leprechauns” is where the kids rule. Get your child a POP (pay one price) wristband for $10 at the main gate and your child can play in the “Land of the Leprechauns” all day (from 1 to 5pm) and have unlimited access to all the rides. Kids 5 or under get their POP wristband for only $5. Rides include The Super Slide, The Adrenalin Rush, Giant Moon Bounce, and The Crazy Caterpillar. There will also be face painting, balloon art and puppet shows. The entrance price for the “Land of the Leprechauns” enables the kids to unlimited rides between 1pm and 5pm. Be sure to purchase your “Pay one Price” bracelet when entering the Fair.
