This May, EWE won't want to miss TWO exciting weekends of shear fun at the Queens Zoo and the Prospect Park Zoo!
May 5-6 at the Queens Zoo, spring is in full swing! That means it’s time for the Zoo’s sheep to get their annual haircuts. Watch our woolly flock go from shaggy to shorn during live wool-processing demos, and enjoy crafts activities.
Two weeks later, May 19-20 at the Prospect Park Zoo, have some wild and woolly fun! Watch our sheep get their annual haircuts, and learn felt-making, weaving, and spinning techniques. Musical guests will also perform.
For more information and directions to the Prospect Park Zoo, call us at (718) 399-7339 or visit our website, prospectparkzoo.com
At both zoos, all activities are free with park admission. Parks are open 10:00am - 5:30pm.
