Jazz guitarist Bill Wurtzel, familiar to Folk Art Museum friends for his Guitar Afternoon performances each Wednesday, is also a master at food arts. He has been making these witty improvisational plates for his wife, Claire, for as many years as they've been married. He's turned a hobby into an art form with a social message. His goal is to discourage obesity by inspiring children—and adults—to improve their eating habits by creating meals that are not only nutritious but also fun.
A fun afternoon for the whole family with jazz improv with Bill Wurtzel and bass violinist Jay Leonhart followed by a book signing with the authors.
