Free This Weekend: Target Arts and Wonder Weekend Events

You may be familiar with many of the free museum times that Target sponsors throughout the city on a regular basis, but this week Target is ramping it up with three days of fun—and FREE—cultural offerings at museums and performing arts institutions around the city during theTarget Arts & Wonder Free Family Event, Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18.

Highlights include a Kids Design Festival at the Cooper Hewitt, Family Arts Weekend on the High Line, a block party with El Museo del Barrio, and much more:

Free Admission, Sunday, July 18, from 11 am to 6 pm

 

 

Children’s Museum of Manhattan
Free Admission and activities
Friday, July 16, from 5 to 8 pm
Saturday, July 17, from 10 am to 5 pm
Color a target bookbag for special summer outings.

 

 

Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum
Design Kids Festival
Saturday, July 17, from 10 am to 6 pm
Kids age 3 to 12 can make buttons, clocks, book bags, etc. in the garden between 11 and 3.

 

 

El Museo del Barrio
Health and Fitness Fun Block Party
Super Sabado, July 17, from 11 am to 8:30 pm
Dance to the DJ, hulu hoop, ride your bike on the race course and more at this fun-filled block party for all ages.
