Weekend Fun for LI Kids: Polish Festival, KidStock, Children's Concert, August 15-16
Have a groovy time at North Hempstead Town's KidStock in Port Washington. This family-friendly open air event will have musical entertainment. Families can also indulge in some culture this weekend at the Polish Fair in Riverhead, or get in touch with the outdoors by using nature to create art in Greenlawn.
And of course, everyone will want to enjoy these last few weeks of summer by spending time outdoors. Sit under the stars and enjoy a concert in Long Beach or movies in Lido Beach.

Summer Cool Down Playdate - Commack. At Kidville, children can gather to enjoy crafts, gym and ice pops.
Nature Art Workshop - Greenlawn. Head to Picasso Kidz to use nature items to create works of art. Ages 2-12.
Broadway Mall Gives Back - Hicksville. At Broadway Mall, the community can gather for back to school specials, face painting, music, giveaways and much more. Free.
Yoga for Kids - Montauk. At the Mindful Turtle Yoga, kids can channel their inner yogi.

Movies Under the Stars - Lido Beach. At Nickerson Beach, watch Night at the Museum: Smithsonian. Free.
Butterfly Treasure Hunt - East Hampton. At LongHouse Reserve, families can hunt for feather butterflies.
Sensory Garden Sundays - Oyster Bay. At Planting Fields Arboretum, children will have the opportunity to see, taste, touch, smell and listen to the wonders of the sensory garden. Free.
Summer Sundays - Brookhaven. At Brookhaven National Lab, tour the world-class facilities, attend an array of dynamic science talks and participate in special activities each week on Sundays in the summer. Free.
Polo in the Park - Bethpage. Take in a polo match and some family fun at Bethpage State Park.
Sunday Kids Clubs - East Hampton. Visit Hampton Kids for a mini camp on Sundays. Snacks, arts, lunch, games and bouncy houses.
Family Sundays at the Museum - Roslyn. Families can attend a day of festivities and activities at the Nassau County Museum of Art.
