Weekend Open Art Studio for Kids – East Hampton. At Guild Hall, budding young artists can work independently on a variety of interactive arts and crafts projects.

Alice in Wonderland A New Musical Adaptation – Rockville Centre. At The Madison Theatre at Molloy College, this is a live show.

Pinocchio – Elmont. At BroadHollow Theatre at Elmont. Live theatrical performance.

Cinderella – Belmore. At The Bellmore Movies at the Showplace, this is a live theatrical performance.

The Arcade Age – Garden City. The Cradle of Aviation Museum is hosting this exhibit through April 3 each day. It has transformed a section of its galleries into an arcade complete with unforgettable favorites like Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Space Invaders, Centipede, Donkey Kong and more.

Explorer Family Backpacks – Hempstead. Ongoing family fun at the Hofstra University Museum.

Messy Afternoons at LICM – Garden City. A hands-on, multi-sensory experience at Long Island Children's Museum.

Mommy & Me Painting: Two of Hearts Tree – Bellmore. At As You Wish, parent and child can paint two canvases with step-by-step instructions.

Kitchen Exploration – Bridgehampton. At Children's Museum of the East End, explore basic culinary concepts like chopping, mixing and measuring while making Play-Doh Pasta and Play-Doh Salads.

Winter Family Exploration & Scavenger Hunt - Bridgehampton. At the South Fork Natural History Museum,join Crystal in a family friendly scavenger hunt through a field, forests, and near a pond to find out what a fox, a turkey, bluebird, or mouse might use for shelter when the snow blows and what their versions of a grocery store/restaurant are. Bundle up, and make sure you put on plenty of “modern” clothing to keep warm.

Special Education Workshop – Mineola. This Special Education Advocate workshop will teach parents/guardians how to advocate for your child's needs.

Parent and Me Torticollis Treatment Workshop – Huntington. At Dinosaur Physical Therapy, address any concerns regarding Torticollis and Plagiocephaly and learn hands-on treatment ideas.

Hands On Art Saturdays – Hempstead. At African-American Museum of Nassau County, this weekly studio art is suitable for all ages.

Earth Rattling Shakers – Garden City. At the Long Island Children's Museum, celebrate the arrival of “When the Earth Shakes,” a traveling exhibit all about the science of earthquakes.

Family Event: Let It Snow – Rockville Centre. At The Center for Science Teaching & Learning, learn about the science of snow.

Full Moon Night Hike – Quogue. At the Quogue Wildlife Refuge, families can participate in this guided hike.

Brick Building Club – Amityville. At Key to My Art, every week, there is a new theme. Kids work together or alone to fulfill the task of the day.

Sunday Science – Rockville Centre. The Center for Science Teaching & Learning offers a bi-monthly drop off program designed to further engage your child with scientific topics outside of the classroom.

The Not-Its – Garden City. At the Long Island Children's Museum, this is a live musical performance.

Mommy & Me Molding Brunch – Garden City. At Chocolate Works Garden City, kids and moms can mold chocolate, take a dip in the chocolate fountain and decorate an item on their 20’ conveyor belt.

Family Music and Fun at The Perlman Music Program – Shelter Island Heights. At The Perlman Music Program

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – Old Brookville. Live performance at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.

Kid's Paint Night: Winter Theme – Amityville. At Key to My Art, paint a snowy, glowy, winter themed painting.

LEGO Club at CMEE – Bridgehampton. At the Children's Museum of the East End, your child can construct works of art using the thousands of Legos they have at the Museum.

Family Sundays at the Museum – Roslyn. At the Nassau County Museum of Art, Family Sundays begin with exhibition-based gallery conversations. Families then go on to explore new art materials, vocabulary and ideas with a museum educator.
