From the annual Revels Spring Sing in Watertown to Rock ’n’ Romp in Cambridge, from Vanessa Trien in Chestnut Hill to Stacey Peasley in Needham. The Pirates of Penzance - Arsenal Center for the Arts, Watertown

Get ready for a den of misfit pirates, characters searching for adventure, confusion on the high seas. Join WCT as it brings to life W.S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance. A cast of K-9th graders sing, dance and act their way through this classic, comic operetta. Dress as your favorite Gilbert and Sullivan character for the Saturday 7 pm performance and be entered to win a prize.

The Irish Magic Show blends enchanting stage magic with lively physical comedy to introduce the audience to a clan of classical characters from Irish children’s literature. Meet a comical, ghostly pooka, and participate in an Irish language poem about a banshee. Children discover the secrets of the Salmon of Knowledge, meet an elusive sea serpent called an Ollphéist and encounter the mischievous, headless Dullahan.
