Spring festivals, fairs, and celebrations in Westchester and the Hudson Valley offer some of the best ways to get outside and celebrate the season.

April brings multiple festivals in honor of Earth Day, including the Bedford 2030 Earth Day Festival. In May, families can dance and get messy with a rainbow of colors at Hawthorne's outdoor Holi Festival of Colors in Broadway Field Park

Or, marvel at the natural beauty of spring at the annual Mohonk Mountain House Tulip Festival in New Paltz or at the Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival in Hastings-on-Hudson, which features beautiful cherry blossoms along with Japanese cultural activities.

As always, if an event piques your interest, click through to our listing for all the details, including addresses, times, and recommended ages. And keep in mind: Really cool things to do with kids often book up quickly, so register or buy your tickets ASAP.
