Mommy Poppins App Is Coming! Help Us Launch It and Win Cool Rewards!
What could be better than having access to the Mommy Poppins Connecticut website not only on your computer, but now on your phone? We’re working on developing an app for NYC to launch in June, and with your help, Connecticut's content could follow almost immediately. Read on to find out about how you can help make it happen and the super-cool incentives you can get for helping, like having a photo of your child at their favorite kids' spot represent that location, a ticket to our swanky launch party or having your business be the featured location in your area.
So what would this app do? The Mommy Poppins App will allow you to find all the great places we write about on our sites—spots to create, be active, learn, shop, eat and more—easily on your phone. With the Mommy Poppins App, you'll be able to:

- Read detailed descriptions by our editors about our favorite locations and activities
Creating an app is lots of work and expensive, but like our site, we want to make it free and accessible to everyone. Our IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign (similar to Kickstarter) is a fun way to pay it forward and be part of making that happen. For as little as a $2 contribution you can be the first to get the app for free and help to make it available to everyone. We also have affordable options for businesses who would like to be featured for the first year. Now here's where the competition comes in. The app will start in NYC and we just need to raise $6,000 so that all of our sister sites will have the app too. But who will be first to get it? Well, if you'd like to see CT be second in line (after NYC) we just need you to leave a comment on our IndieGoGo campaign page expressing your desire to have the app here. Whichever region gets the most comments on our campaign page "wins". You can do it Connecticut! Leave a comment whether you contribute or not, but of course we hope you will want to pay it forward.
