May is quite the festive month in Westchester and the Hudson Valley! We continue to celebrate spring with lots of festivals and fairs like the annual Kite Festival, and there’s a lineup of fun performances like The Olate Dogs and high-tech programs like STEM-tastic Saturday.

Historic Hudson Valley is keeping visitors entertained with two big events in May: Lightscapes, which dazzles with its illuminated flora and fauna displays, and Discover Pinkster!, an African-American celebration of spring.

In May we also celebrate Mother’s Day (our calendar will soon be bursting with ways to honor Mom!) and Memorial Day, with events like the Annual Memorial Day Races & Fair.
