Learn about sustainability with hands-on workshops based on the people and projects featured in the ReGeneration exhibition. Workshops include:
- LED Grow Lights: Make LED grow lights with Biomodd [NYC4]'s Tamara Sabler and Zach Smart. The LED lights are similiar to those used in the Biomodd [NYC4] exhibit and will work with standard USB chargers. Join us on January 12 to make your own solar USB chargers. 1 pm. $6 per project.
- Recycled and ReGenerated Music: ReGeneration artist Nick Yulman will install a set of mechanical music modules created from found and recycled materials. Collaborate with Yulman by attaching different objects to the modules to create unique sounds. noon – 4 pm. Free with NYSCI admission.
- Tomorrow 2.0 Simulation: NYSCI Explainers and the student collaborators of Carl Skelton's Tomorrow 2.0 discuss their ReGeneration exhibit. 1 pm. Free with NYSCI admission.
World's Fair 2.0 Feedback Sessions: NYSCI Explainers faciliate feedback sessions for the World's Fair 2.0 app. Noon. Free with NYSCI admission.
