Join The Bronx Museum for an open house and outdoor fair. Eat great food, shop from local artisans, then enter the museum to see cutting-edge work in Intersections: The Grand Concourse Commissions and Urban Archives: That Was Then This Is Now exhibitions.
The event will also feature break dance performances curated by Rokafella, History Collection by Bronx Museum Teen Council, Music by DJ Sam Quinones, Vendor booths of local artisans, Food by Fauzia’s Heavenly Delights and Yiya Natural Vegetarian Cuisine, and family and children activities.
Children’s Activities to include:
“Me in My ‘Hood” – Did you know that The Bronx is divides into 49 neighborhoods? Do you know the name of YOUR neighborhood? Children and their parents will participate in an interactive activity in which they will map their homes, schools and favorite places to visit in the Bronx while learning facts about their borough and neighborhood.
