The Redondo Beach Fire Department celebrates Fire Service Day with open houses at Fire Station One, (401 S. Broadway), and Fire Station Two (2400 Grant Avenue).

The Fire Department personnel demonstrate some of the equipment used for firefighting, search and rescue in structural collapses, paramedic equipment and the protective equipment each firefighter uses.
