A family service event for people of all ages. Participate in volunteer projects, a film screening, and reflection about Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy and ideas. Help organizations from Harlem and East Harlem give back with service projects designed around MLK and Hurricane Sandy Relief!
Food and fun all free.
Registration is required.

1. Making hygiene kits
2. Assembling healthy breakfast kits
3. No-Sew Fleece Hats and scarves for Kids

5. Create children's books for peace: A is for... – East River Children’s Center, Children’s Aid Daycare Center, Women in Need
6. Origami kits for peace and justice – Women in Need, East River Children’s Center
7. Decorate reusable bags – Yorkville Common Pantry
8. Creating black dolls for kids – Dolls for Dolls
9. Yarn balls for cats and dog treats – Animal Haven
10. Reading Corner: Older kids read to younger ones in the library
