Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake. Enjoy a meditative reflection with a Lama from Tibet; learn a Grandmother Moon song from Bear Fox and the Akwesasne Women Singers of the Mohawk Nation; and create a Dong Ho Vietnamese folk painting. Performance by the Chinese Theatre Works, dance to the music of a Korean Daegeum bamboo flute, music by Paul Yeon Lee and the New York Korean Traditional Marching Band, hear stories at the Kitchen Conversations recording booth, and learn about Chinese cooking with chef Grace Young.
