Children and families can learn everything about monarch butterflies and their habitat with an up-close look at the magnificent creatures.

Kids can learn how to plant their own butterfly garden. Participants can also go inside a netted butterfly enclosure. Butterfly experts are on-site to provide educational information and answer questions about the beautiful and unique specimens.

Additional event activities include interpretive programs, children’s crafts, face painting and a balloon artist.  Food available for purchase.

The free event takes place at Freedom Hall (near Parking Lot E)

Parking is free. (Please park in the overflow lot and walk through the Nature Area to the event site.)
